To begin with, Mamba has been on the dating market since 2003. There are more than 50 countries that use Mamba to find love. The information on Mamba was pretty limited on the site when compared to what other international dating sites detail. At first glance, Mamba has a very simple homepage. You don’t have to scroll through the page, as everything you need on the homepage is visible. With very little effort, you can sign-in or register for Mamba via email. They also have a host of social networks that you can sign in from as well. Having six different social networks for sign in variation is already a feature that is unique to Mamba.

Upon clicking the “Register with Email” button, you are brought to a sign up pop-up. From here, Mamba will ask you for your first name, email, gender and birthday.

Then, a second pop-up appears on the screen. They ask you to confirm your profile. You can do so via your mobile phone number, Vkontakte, Telegram or Viber. This is a new feature that most international dating sites don’t require. It was interesting to us that Mamba had this safety feature to protect against spam. When you confirm your profile, you will be able to view the profiles of others.

Right from the start, you will be able to choose women you like or dislike. You have the option to skip, like, flip through the pictures or send a gift. Mamba will give you multiple women to choose from for this “encounter” feature. But let’s take a look at one of the profiles. 

The profiles are very basic and don’t offer a lot of information. It does provide information on the last time your lady was logged in, how old she is and where she is from. In addition, you can see who she would like to meet, languages she can speak and what she is looking for. Also, it is important to note that you cannot search for women in a different country without being on VIP status. 

Mamba has an interesting feature where you can mark someone as VIP. As a result, your photo will appear on their profile and they will be able to see you. While this is a nice feature, it also doesn’t come for free. For you to be “featured” on their profile for 30 days, you would have to pay about $27. We have seen other features that add a bit more value from other sites, but we still believe this feature could be beneficial.

Teamo has algorithms to offer matches to you. For only $1, Teamo  will allow you to try out their full services if you are a new member. With premium status,you can view hidden photos, use personal profile parameters while searching, find out who likes you and adds you to their favorites immediately and view other premium users. Through Teamo, you are able to take Mamba’s version of a psychological test.

This is the second site out of the fourteen we have reviewed that has a psychological/personality test. The big difference between this test and the one for Elite Singles is the time. It only took about ten minutes as opposed to an entire hour. Do you know what that means? You can spend more time finding the right partner. 

When the personality test is over, you are brought to a page of hand-selected singles. Teamo states that you can build a lasting relationship with the singles they picked. Only you can be the judge of that, but it was a great gesture for Teamo (Mamba) to go the extra mile. 

While the personality test on Teamo was very easy and fast, we did get a little confused about the mission of Teamo. We were brought to a page of singles on Teamo that looked similar to the page on Mamba, but it had more detail. So should you choose your women from Mamba or Teamo? When we uploaded a picture on Teamo for the profile, we realized that it did not carry over to Mamba. This led us to believe that Mamba and Teamo don’t quite sync up. 

Mamba allows you to “top up your balance” with more coins. These coins will allow you to boost your popularity, post a photo for everyone to see and give compliments. There are three tiers at which you can purchase coins. With $9.50, you can purchase 5 coins. For just $18.90, you will have 12 coins to spend and with $44.90, you will get 30 coins. That’s six times the amount of coins offered on the first plan. Is this a good deal?

What we had a hard time figuring out was how many coins it took to give someone a compliment or boost your popularity. It was not clearly stated on the website and we believe Mamba could do a better job in this area. We were, however, able to find the information by clicking “Account” on the top of the screen. For 29 coins, you can send a gift and with the same amount, you can see horoscope compatibility. This information can be viewed from Mamba.

On the other hand, Teamo gives you a more in-depth review of the cost. For only about $5, you can get 70 coins. But wait a minute. Doesn’t it cost $9.50 for 5 coins on Mamba? This misalignment is very concerning. If Mamba and Teamo are supposed to be working together, wouldn’t they have the same pricing structure? And why is Mamba significantly more expensive than Teamo? If we didn’t take the personality test, we would have never known that we could have gotten a better deal with Teamo instead of Mamba. For this information to not be displayed in a more transparent way is alarming and we recommend that you practice caution while on this site. 

We later found out through Mamba customer service that Teamo is separate from Mamba. It is a completely different dating site centered around the psychological test. This information was not made clear on Mamba at all and caused a lot of confusion.
