The latter was interesting to us, as most of the sites we’ve reviewed show this information after signing in. Everyone wants to know the cost on dating platforms so placing plan details on the homepage is helpful to users. Of course, you can sign up for free right from the homepage.

The sign-up process was not as fast as some of the other sites we’ve reviewed. Elenas Models asked for your full name, gender, birthday, country, city email and password. They also allow you to sign in via Facebook or Google. Additionally, they offer a bit of comfort letting you know that they don’t post to your social page. Then comes a few more questions in the structure of three steps.

During the first step, Elenas Models asks for more details about you. These details include height, weight, eye color, marital status and more. International dating sites don’t always ask for the ethnicity you are looking for so we thought that was a nice detail Elenas Models included.

As a part of the second step, Elenas Models suggests adding photos to your profile. This is a step that you can skip now and do later, but if you are serious about finding the one, pictures will help tremendously.

Finally, we come to the last step in the sign-up process. Elenas Models asks that you write a message about yourself. Examples of what to type include what you would say to your future wife and defining what is the most important thing to you. They also ask for you to select at least five interests. These interests could entail books, watching sports and even restaurants. The more interests you select, the better your outcome will be in finding a matching companion. 

Subsequently, you will receive a verification link via email once you are done signing up. It’s convenient that the verification email pops up in your primary inbox. You don’t have to search your other inboxes for it and it shows up immediately after you finish step 3. 

Before Elenas Models shows you any profiles, they let you know your profile is being reviewed. Don’t worry, this review only takes about 10 minutes and they will send you an email once it has been approved. But in the meantime, you are still able to view your homepage and start a search. We get the sense that Elenas Models is very transparent about your account. They even let you know right from your personal homepage how much it will cost to upgrade to their Gold membership. Elenas Models doesn’t hide this information or make it difficult for you to find.

They will allow you to view one picture under free membership, but you will have to upgrade to view more photos. The profiles themselves are very bland and the layout is simple. You will be able to view extensive detail on your interest, including education, profession and marital status just to name a few. A nice feature that Elenas Models has on each profile is a response rate. This percentage will let you know how fast your interest is in responding to messages. We will discuss this more in the next section.

When it comes to searching the Elenas Models database, there are seven main categories to search within. Under Basic Requirements, you can search based on height, weight, gender, age and country. If you want to get more specific, you can search under the Characteristics category. Here, you can search based on hair color, eye color, hair length and star sign (zodiac). The Marital Status category will allow you to search for women who are divorced, widowed, married/separated or have never been married. You can even go as far as selecting women based on their language and educational level.

As we stated earlier, you can view the response rate of your interest. If their response rate is low, you can expect them to take some time getting back to you. But at least you know up front and you don’t have to wonder if they are not responding due to lack of interest.
