Elite Singles is designed to partner American singles who want long-term commitment. The vision of Elite Singles is to maintain high standards in the dating industry. They boast of having a unique match-makers process. This dating service has been around since 2008, which is not bad when compared to other sites. Just looking at the homepage, they a simple way to get started, only asking who you’re looking for, your email and password. Also, the home screen shows that 85% of their members have an above average education. It sounds like the people you meet won’t just be all beauty and no brains.
Then begins a long questionnaire, which you don’t have the convenience of skipping. If they have such a prestigious match-making process, it may be necessary to actually get each member to fill it out in the beginning. At any rate, it still took some time out of our day to fill everything out. It seems that other sites, who offer very similar match-making services, can provide great matches without such a lengthy questionnaire. If you don’t mind sitting down and really dedicating an hour to fill out a personality test, by all means, proceed with Elite Singles.
Guess what? You are finally done with the 111 question personality test! We have to say, this was very lengthy and from start to finish without interruptions, it took an hour to complete. So what comes next? Now, you get to upload a photo or do it later.

Remember that 111 questionnaire that was just completed? Well, now Elite Singles is asking you to take a minute to fill in your profile. What else could they possibly want to know? Very interesting. It seems to us that Elite Singles asks a lot from potential members before they offer any glance at profiles. This is a definite area of improvement for Elite Singles to take into consideration. If we were not doing a review of the site, we would have left a long time ago…

After describing yourself a little bit (if you choose), you will be brought to yet another page. And it’s not the profiles, which is what every potential member wants to see. Elite Singles now takes you to their pricing options. We will discuss pricing later in the review, so stay tuned.

Finally, we get to see the dashboard for Elite Singles (and we didn’t have to pay a dime). Right from the beginning, we received nine matches on the site. The dashboard is relatively plain and they only have two main tabs: Matches and Messages.

When we clicked on matches, we could see everything on the profile, except the pictures. Surprisingly, if you click on the picture, it takes you to the pricing page once more. Apparently, the only way to see what any of the women look like is to get out your credit card. We are not really getting a warm and fuzzy feeling from Elite Singles. As stated before, it seems like they want you to give more than they are willing to give in return. And that doesn’t make for a dating site you can trust.
On the profile page, there are four tabs to explore more detail about your interest: Profile, Gallery, Personality and Interests. On the personality tab, you are able to see an overview of what she may be like. The overview includes five categories of highlight: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism.
One of the prominent features on Elites Singles is the personality test. With this information, they are able to access who you are on a deeper level, as well as match you with a partner who will really be right for you. While the questionnaire is very lengthy, it does provide Elite Singles with the necessary information to give you the best matches. Outside of this and a mobile app, Elite Singles doesn’t have much else to offer.

We were not particularly thrilled about the pricing options for Elite Singles. They make it seem as though you can’t view any profiles until you pay for membership. By the way, they don’t offer free membership where you can see pictures and send messages. The only way to get around the pricing page is to either wait until the page times out and refresh or confirm your email address in your inbox. We found this to be somewhat sneaky and surreptitious.
The lowest monthly deal you can get is $19.95/month for a 12 month membership. The second lowest monthly deal you can sign up for is worth $21.95/month for six months. Lastly, the most expensive monthly deal you can have is $37.95/month for three months. This is the only site we have reviewed that makes you pay to view pictures.
Elite Singles offers daily quality profile checks to ensure you are dating a real person. Every member on the site has a verified profile. But what they lack is a way for the members to actually check for themselves. They don’t have video chat or live chat features like many other dating sites. When you’re dating someone who isn’t local, those features become undeniably important. The fact that Elite Singles doesn’t have video chat or live chat puts them behind the competition.
By clicking on the “Customer Care” link, you will be taken to Elite Singles customer service. While they offer many articles to help you out, they don’t readily show you where to submit a request. The only way to find this button is to click on one of the help articles. They did respond to our question on the same day and it is interesting to note that they are in Germany. There is a bit of a time difference, but they responded to us quickly.
