To start, UkraineDate states that it unites singles worldwide. From the homepage, you can see it’s free to review your matches and you have access to messaging features. It boasts that they are the most  trusted dating site in the industry, but we will see how they measure up to the other prominent dating sites.

In addition, we noticed a missing word on the page, which is never a good first impression. We hope that the carelessness on the homepage doesn’t carry over into other places on the site. UkraineDate offers personalized service with the latest technology. So what else does UkraineDate have to offer a seeking single like yourself? Keep reading to find out.

As soon as you click on “View Singles Now” from the homepage, a box appears. It asks for your first name, what gender you are looking for, your age, your email and a password. Furthermore, they also have an option to join with Facebook if you would like to do that instead. You will simply fill this information in and click “View Singles Now” within the white box. After you sign up, you will be taken to another page.

This page is where you can add more photos of yourself. While we cancelled and did not choose to upload a picture at the time, we encourage that you do. As a result, you will have a greater chance of meeting your special someone if you are more visible (safely, of course). It is nice that UkraineDate allows you to upload a picture from Facebook as well. For this reason, it’s very convenient for you because you don’t have to search through your camera gallery (or worse, spend a lot of time taking the right picture). Surely, when we clicked cancel, we could see all of the beautiful profiles.

Like magic, you are able to see how many members are online and your profile completion percentage. Furthermore, you can view how many new messages, views, likes and favorites you have right away.. There is also a handy search box on this screen where you can search with six filters. This makes it easy to find exactly who you are looking for, whether it be a brunette or a blonde.

As you can see, the profiles are very detailed. First, you receive an overview of your interest. Subsequently, you can view what she is seeking and more information about her. This information includes gender, age, appearance, lifestyle, background and personal measurements (in case you really want to get a good idea of what she looks like). There is a lot of detail for you to look through, but the more you know about your interest, the easier it will be to know if there is a real connection. 

As a side note, when we checked our inbox for any welcome email from UkraineDate, we noticed that we received five emails. Of the five, four of them were matches and one message was alerting us of how to upgrade membership. Be sure to check your promotions folder if you are using gmail, as the welcome email from UkraineDate will land in this area. At first, it seemed like we did not receive a welcome email, but upon closer inspection, we realized the message just did not end up in our regular inbox.

Another part of this review deals with features. In this case, UkraineDate has a handy mobile application for all users. On the UkraineDate App, you are able to sign-in anytime, anywhere. If you need to update your profile, you can do so wherever you are. Uploading new pictures on the UkraineDate App is a breeze and you can do it on the go. With the ever present and growing digital phase we are in, completing tasks on the go is ideal. UkraineDate has functional platform that allows you to do everything you could do on your home computer, from your phone. This is an exceptional feature to have for a dating site, especially today. 

We found it particularly interesting that UkraineDate boasts about having the latest technology, yet they do not offer video chat. It’s not sounding like they are quite delivering on what they promised in the beginning. This is a definite area of improvement for UkraineDate.

The next part of the review has to deal with pricing. There is a green box at the top right of the site that states “Send Unlimited Communication.” This is where you can find pricing for UkraineDate. We were able to find the upgrade to platinum option from the matches tab. When we clicked the “upgrade to platinum” button, we were able to see pricing for Platinum and Gold subscriptions.

On the platinum plan, you can have a 12-month plan at $12.50/mo (though it’s billed as one payment for $149.99), you can have a 3-month plan at $23.33/mo (though it’s billed as one payment for $69.98) or you can have a 1-month plan at $34.99/mo. 

On the gold plan, you can have a 12-month plan at $10.00/mo (though it’s billed as one payment for $119.98), you can have a 3-month plan at $20.00/mo (though it’s billed as one payment for $59.99) or you can have a 1-month plan at $29.98/mo. 

In the fine print, it does say the subscription automatically renews after it expires. So you choose a membership, add your personal details and save your receipt. 

UkraineDate provides helpful hints for online dating, such as what to look out for before and after dating someone online. Lastly, we come to how well UkraineDate delivers customer service. They do not have an email for customer service, which is a little inconvenient. However, they do offer their mailing and office address (which is in Australia). If you have to send them any information to resolve an issue, having to send by mail is very time-consuming. This would be an area of major improvement for UkraineDate. When you have an issue, you expect to be able to send an email at the very least. Also, because they work in the Australia time zone, you have to catch them at the right time of day to speak to someone. They don’t take calls on the weekends and they stop taking calls at 4:00pm their time. So by the time you get off of work, there wouldn’t be anyone available to talk to you. It doesn’t seem like UkraineDate is very accomodating in this area when compared to other dating sites.
